Rabbit anti-Human ARCN1 Polyclonal Antibody

The antibody against ARCN1 was raised in Rabbit using the recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 212-511 of human ARCN1 (NP_001646.2) as the immunogen. The polyclonal antibody exists as a isotype IgG, by affinity purification. This antibody has been validated on WB, IF/ICC, ELISA.

Background Information
  • Uniprot Id

    P48444

  • Target Species

    Human

  • Target Name

    ARCN1

  • Target Full Name

    Coatomer subunit delta

  • Target Function

Component of the coatomer, a cytosolic protein complex that binds to dilysine motifs and reversibly associates with Golgi non-clathrin-coated vesicles, which further mediate biosynthetic protein transport from the ER, via the Golgi up to the trans Golgi network. The coatomer complex is required for budding from Golgi membranes, and is essential for the retrograde Golgi-to-ER transport of dilysine-tagged proteins. In mammals, the coatomer can only be recruited by membranes associated to ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs), which are small GTP-binding proteins; the complex also influences the Golgi structural integrity, as well as the processing, activity, and endocytic recycling of LDL receptors

  • Target Involvement

Short stature, rhizomelic, with microcephaly, micrognathia, and developmental delay (SRMMD)

  • Target Subcellular Location

Cytoplasm. Golgi apparatus membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side. Cytoplasmic vesicle, COPI-coated vesicle membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side.

  • Target Protein Families

Adaptor complexes medium subunit family, Delta-COP subfamily

  • Target Tissue Specificity

    Ubiquitously expressed.

  • Target Synonyms

Archain 1; Archain; Archain vesicle transport protein 1; Arcn1; Coatomer delta subunit; Coatomer protein complex, subunit delta; Coatomer protein delta COP; Coatomer subunit delta; COPD_HUMAN; Delta coat protein; Delta COP; Delta-coat protein; Delta-COP
