The antibody against CD73/NT5E was raised in Rabbit using the recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 32-264 of human CD73/NT5E (NP_002517.1) as the immunogen. The polyclonal antibody exists as a isotype IgG, by affinity purification. This antibody has been validated on WB, IHC-P, ELISA.

Target Full Name
5'-nucleotidase
Target Function
Hydrolyzes extracellular nucleotides into membrane permeable nucleosides. Exhibits AMP-, NAD-, and NMN-nucleosidase activities.
Target Involvement
Calcification of joints and arteries (CALJA)
Target Subcellular Location
Cell membrane; Lipid-anchor, GPI-anchor.
Target Protein Families
5'-nucleotidase family
Target Synonyms
NT; eN; NT5; NTE; eNT; CD73; E5NT; CALJA; CD73/NT5E
Target Background
The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that catalyzes the conversion of extracellular nucleotides to membrane-permeable nucleosides. The encoded protein is used as a determinant of lymphocyte differentiation. Defects in this gene can lead to the calcification of joints and arteries. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
