The production of this Recombinant Human ERAS protein started with the ERAS gene synthesis. And then using recombinant DNA technology, the ERAS gene was inserted into an expression vector so that we could get the recombinant express plasmid of ERAS. Transform the plasmid into the cells of E.coli, culture the cells and we could get the desired Recombinant Human ERAS protein. But the work was not completed, protein purification and a strict QC system were performed in the last step. The purity is 90%+ determined by SDS-PAGE.ERAS (also named HRAS2 or HRASP) is a gene providing an instruction of making a protein named GTPase ERas (ERas) in human. The protein encoded by this gene is also known as Embryonic stem cell-expressed Ras and belongs to Ras family found in murine embryonic stem (ES) cells in 2003. Increasing studies has been reported that ERAS may provide resistance to chemotherapy in different human tumorigenic cells through activation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway, promoting both DNA replication and transcription.
