The antibody against HPR was raised in rabbit using the Recombinant Arabidopsis thaliana Glycerate dehydrogenase HPR, peroxisomal protein (1-386AA) as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a hrp conjugated isotype IgG, purified by protein G with a purity greater than 95%. This antibody has been validated on ELISA.

Target Species
Arabidopsis thaliana
Target Name
HPR
Target Function
Catalyzes the NADH-dependent reduction of hydroxypyruvate into glycerate in the photorespiratory core cycle. Mediates fatty acid beta-oxidation in germinating seeds when malate dehydrogenase is absent.
Target Subcellular Location
Peroxisome.
Target Protein Families
D-isomer specific 2-hydroxyacid dehydrogenase family
Target Tissue Specificity
Present in leaves (at protein level). Mostly expressed in photosynthetic tissues such as leaves, stems, flowers, buds, and, to a lower extent, in siliques and roots.
