The antibody against rbcL was raised in rabbit using the Recombinant Arabidopsis thaliana Ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase large chain protein (3-479AA) as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG, purified by protein G with a purity greater than 95%. This antibody has been validated on ELISA, WB.

Target Species
Arabidopsis thaliana
Target Name
RBCL
Target Function
RuBisCO catalyzes two reactions: the carboxylation of D-ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate, the primary event in carbon dioxide fixation, as well as the oxidative fragmentation of the pentose substrate in the photorespiration process. Both reactions occur simultaneously and in competition at the same active site. Binds to abscisic acid (ABA).
Target Subcellular Location
Plastid, chloroplast.
Target Protein Families
RuBisCO large chain family, Type I subfamily
