Rabbit anti-Human CDK10 Polyclonal Antibody

The antibody against CDK10 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the Internal region of Human Cdk10. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on WB, IHC, ELISA.

Background Information
  • Uniprot Id

    Q15131

  • Target Species

    Human

  • Target Name

    CDK10

  • Target Full Name

    Cyclin-dependent kinase 10

  • Target Function

Cyclin-dependent kinase that phosphorylates the transcription factor ETS2 (in vitro) and positively controls its proteasomal degradation (in cells). Involved in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton organization through the phosphorylation of actin dynamics regulators such as PKN2. Is a negative regulator of ciliogenesis through phosphorylation of PKN2 and promotion of RhoA signaling.

  • Target Involvement

    Al Kaissi syndrome (ALKAS)

  • Target Subcellular Location

    Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, cilium basal body.

  • Target Protein Families

Protein kinase superfamily, CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family, CDC2/CDKX subfamily

  • Target Synonyms

CDC2 related protein kinase; Cdk10; CDK10_HUMAN; Cell division protein kinase 10; Cyclin dependent kinase 10; Cyclin dependent kinase related protein; Cyclin-dependent kinase 10; PISSLRE; Serine/threonine protein kinase PISSLRE; Serine/threonine-protein kinase PISSLRE

  • Target Background

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the CDK subfamily of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. The CDK subfamily members are highly similar to the gene products of S. cerevisiae cdc28, and S. pombe cdc2, and are known to be essential for cell cycle progression. This kinase has been shown to play a role in cellular proliferation and its function is limited to cell cycle G2-M phase. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
