Rabbit anti-Human DOK4 Polyclonal Antibody

The antibody against DOK4 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the N-terminal region of Human Dok-4. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on WB, IHC, IF, ELISA.

Background Information
  • Uniprot Id

    Q8TEW6

  • Target Species

    Human

  • Target Name

    DOK4

  • Target Full Name

    Docking protein 4

  • Target Function

DOK proteins are enzymatically inert adaptor or scaffolding proteins. They provide a docking platform for the assembly of multimolecular signaling complexes. DOK4 functions in RET-mediated neurite outgrowth and plays a positive role in activation of the MAP kinase pathway. Putative link with downstream effectors of RET in neuronal differentiation. May be involved in the regulation of the immune response induced by T-cells.

  • Target Protein Families

    DOK family, Type B subfamily

  • Target Tissue Specificity

Widely expressed. High expression in skeletal muscle, heart, kidney and liver. Weaker expression in spleen, lung and small intestine, brain, heart and. Expressed in both resting and activated peripheral blood T-cells.

  • Target Synonyms

    DOK4Docking protein 4; Downstream of tyrosine kinase 4; Insulin receptor substrate 5; IRS-5; IRS5

  • Target Background

Predicted to be involved in positive regulation of MAPK cascade and transmembrane receptor protein tyrosine kinase signaling pathway. Predicted to act upstream of or within nervous system development. Predicted to be located in cytosol. Predicted to be active in cytoplasm.
