The antibody against FBXO10 was raised in rabbit using the Recombinant Human F-box only protein 10 protein (248-400AA) as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG, purified by protein G with a purity greater than 95%. This antibody has been validated on ELISA, WB, IHC, IF.

Target Species
Human
Target Name
FBXO10
Target Full Name
F-box only protein 10
Target Function
Substrate-recognition component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein)-type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. The SCF(FBXO10) complex mediates ubiquitination and degradation of BCL2, an antiapoptotic protein, thereby playing a role in apoptosis by controlling the stability of BCL2.
Target Involvement
Defects in FBXO10 may be a cause of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma by allowing the accumulation of BCL2, an oncoprotein that has a critical role in lymphomas.
Target Subcellular Location
Cytoplasm.
Target Synonyms
F box protein 10; F-box only protein 10; FBX10; FBX10_HUMAN; Fbxo10; hCG_2011110; PRMT11
Target Background
Members of the F-box protein family, such as FBXO10, are characterized by an approximately 40-amino acid F-box motif. SCF complexes, formed by SKP1 (MIM 601434), cullin (see CUL1; MIM 603134), and F-box proteins, act as protein-ubiquitin ligases. F-box proteins interact with SKP1 through the F box, and they interact with ubiquitination targets through other protein interaction domains (Jin et al., 2004 [PubMed 15520277]).
