The antibody against GPR62 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the Internal region of Human GPR62. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on WB, ELISA.

Human
Target Name
GPR62
Target Full Name
G-protein coupled receptor 62
Target Function
Orphan G-protein coupled receptor. Constitutively activates the G(q/11)/inositol phosphate and the G(s)-alpha/cAMP signaling pathways. Has spontaneous activity for beta-arrestin recruitment. Shows a reciprocal modulation of signaling functions with the melatonin receptor MTNR1B most likely through receptor heteromerization.
Target Subcellular Location
Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Endosome membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Target Protein Families
G-protein coupled receptor 1 family
Target Tissue Specificity
Expressed in brain; detected in the basal forebrain, frontal cortex, caudate, putamen, thalamus and hippocampus.
Target Synonyms
GPR62; G-protein coupled receptor 62; G-protein coupled receptor GPCR8; hGPCR8; G-protein coupled receptor KPG_005
Target Background
Enables arrestin family protein binding activity. Involved in G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway; inositol phosphate-mediated signaling; and positive regulation of cAMP-mediated signaling. Located in endosome and plasma membrane. Part of receptor complex.
