The antibody against PIGN was raised in rabbit using the Recombinant Human GPI ethanolamine phosphate transferase 1 protein (27-181AA) as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a hrp conjugated isotype IgG, purified by protein G with a purity greater than 95%. This antibody has been validated on ELISA.

Target Name
PIGN
Target Full Name
GPI ethanolamine phosphate transferase 1
Target Function
Ethanolamine phosphate transferase involved in glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchor biosynthesis. Transfers ethanolamine phosphate to the first alpha-1,4-linked mannose of the glycosylphosphatidylinositol precursor of GPI-anchor. May act as suppressor of replication stress and chromosome missegregation.
Target Involvement
Multiple congenital anomalies-hypotonia-seizures syndrome 1 (MCAHS1)
Target Subcellular Location
Endoplasmic reticulum membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Target Protein Families
PIGG/PIGN/PIGO family, PIGN subfamily
Target Synonyms
PIGN; MCD4; GPI ethanolamine phosphate transferase 1; EC 2.-.-.-; MCD4 homolog; Phosphatidylinositol-glycan biosynthesis class N protein; PIG-N
