Rabbit anti-Human PRKCSH Polyclonal Antibody

The antibody against PRKCSH was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from internal of Human GLU2B. as the immunogen. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on ELISA, WB, IF.

Background Information
  • Uniprot Id

    P14314

  • Target Species

    Human

  • Target Name

    PRKCSH

  • Target Full Name

    Glucosidase 2 subunit beta

  • Target Function

Regulatory subunit of glucosidase II that cleaves sequentially the 2 innermost alpha-1,3-linked glucose residues from the Glc(2)Man(9)GlcNAc(2) oligosaccharide precursor of immature glycoproteins. Required for efficient PKD1/Polycystin-1 biogenesis and trafficking to the plasma membrane of the primary cilia.

  • Target Involvement

    Polycystic liver disease 1 (PCLD1)

  • Target Subcellular Location

    Endoplasmic reticulum.

  • Target Research Area

    Signal Transduction

  • Target Synonyms

80K-H protein; AGE-binding receptor 2; AGE-R2; G19P1; GLU2B_HUMAN; Glucosidase 2 subunit beta; Glucosidase II beta subunit; Glucosidase II subunit beta; Hepatocystin; PCLD; PKCSH; PLD1; PRKCSH; Protein kinase C substrate 60.1 kDa protein heavy chain; Protein kinase C substrate 80 Kda protein; Protein kinase C substrate 80K-H; Protein kinase C substrate; 80 Kda protein

  • Target Background

This gene encodes the beta-subunit of glucosidase II, an N-linked glycan-processing enzyme in the endoplasmic reticulum. The encoded protein is an acidic phosphoprotein known to be a substrate for protein kinase C. Mutations in this gene have been associated with the autosomal dominant polycystic liver disease. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
