The antibody against RSU1 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the Internal region of Human Rsu-1. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on WB, ELISA.

Target Name
RSU1
Target Full Name
Ras suppressor protein 1
Target Function
Potentially plays a role in the Ras signal transduction pathway. Capable of suppressing v-Ras transformation in vitro.
Target Synonyms
FLJ31034; Ras suppressor protein 1; Ras suppressor protein 1 isoform 1; RSP 1; RSP-1; RSP1; RSU 1; Rsu-1; RSU1; RSU1 protein; RSU1_HUMAN
Target Background
This gene encodes a protein that is involved in the Ras signal transduction pathway, growth inhibition, and nerve-growth factor induced differentiation processes, as determined in mouse and human cell line studies. In mouse, the encoded protein was initially isolated based on its ability to inhibit v-Ras transformation. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants for this gene have been reported; one of these variants was found only in glioma tumors.
