Binds ubiquitin in vitro. Plays a role in the biogenesis of vacuole and multivesicular bodies (MVBs). Required for the endosomal location of AMSH3. Mediates high-affinity phosphate transporter trafficking to maintain phosphate homeostasis. Regulates vacuolar degradation of PHT1-1.
