Rabbit anti-Human CINP Polyclonal Antibody

The antibody against CINP was raised in rabbit using the Recombinant Human Cyclin-dependent kinase 2-interacting protein (1-212AA) as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG, purified by protein G with a purity greater than 95%. This antibody has been validated on ELISA.

Background Information
  • Uniprot Id

    Q9BW66

  • Target Species

    Human

  • Target Name

    CINP

  • Target Full Name

    Cyclin-dependent kinase 2-interacting protein

  • Target Function

Interacts with the components of the replication complex and 2 kinases, CDK2 and CDC7, thereby providing a functional and physical link between CDK2 and CDC7 during firing of the origins of replication. Regulates ATR-mediated checkpoint signaling.

  • Target Subcellular Location

Nucleus. Note=Binds to nuclear under G1 conditions, and dissociates from chromatin with the start of DNA replication.

  • Target Protein Families

    CINP family

  • Target Research Area

    Cell Biology

  • Target Synonyms

CDK2-interacting protein; CINP; CINP protein; CINP_HUMAN; Cyclin dependent kinase 2 interacting protein; Cyclin-dependent kinase 2-interacting protein; MGC849

  • Target Background

The protein encoded by this gene is reported to be a component of the DNA replication complex as well as a genome-maintenance protein. It may interact with proteins important for replication initiation and has been shown to bind chromatin at the G1 phase of the cell cycle and dissociate from chromatin with replication initiation. It may also serve to regulate checkpoint signaling as part of the DNA damage response. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
