The antibody against JPT1 was raised in rabbit using the Recombinant Human Jupiter microtubule associated homolog 1 protein (2-154AA) as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG, purified by protein G with a purity greater than 95%. This antibody has been validated on ELISA, WB.

Target Name
JPT1
Target Full Name
Jupiter microtubule associated homolog 1
Target Function
Modulates negatively AKT-mediated GSK3B signaling. Induces CTNNB1 'Ser-33' phosphorylation and degradation through the suppression of the inhibitory 'Ser-9' phosphorylation of GSK3B, which represses the function of the APC:CTNNB1:GSK3B complex and the interaction with CDH1/E-cadherin in adherent junctions. Plays a role in the regulation of cell cycle and cell adhesion. Has an inhibitory role on AR-signaling pathway through the induction of receptor proteosomal degradation.
Target Subcellular Location
Nucleus. Cytoplasm.
Target Protein Families
JUPITER family
Target Tissue Specificity
Expressed in testis, skeletal muscle, thymus, prostate, colon, peripheral blood cells, brain and placenta.
Target Research Area
Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling
Target Synonyms
Androgen regulated protein 2; Androgen-regulated protein 2; ARM2; Hematological and neurological expressed 1; Hematological and neurological expressed 1 protein; HN1; HN1_HUMAN; HN1A
Target Background
Located in nuclear membrane; nucleolus; and nucleoplasm.
