The antibody against SYT10 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of Human Synaptotagmin X. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on WB, ELISA.

Target Species
Human
Target Name
SYT10
Target Full Name
Synaptotagmin-10
Target Function
Ca(2+) sensor specifically required for the Ca(2+)-dependent exocytosis of secretory vesicles containing IGF1 in neurons of the olfactory bulb. Exocytosis of IGF1 is required for sensory perception of smell. Not involved in Ca(2+)-dependent synaptic vesicle exocytosis. Acts through Ca(2+) and phospholipid binding to the C2 domain: Ca(2+) induces binding of the C2-domains to phospholipid membranes and to assembled SNARE-complexes; both actions contribute to triggering exocytosis.
Target Subcellular Location
Cytoplasmic vesicle, secretory vesicle membrane; Single-pass membrane protein.
Target Protein Families
Synaptotagmin family
Target Tissue Specificity
Expressed only in pancreas, lung and kidney.
Target Synonyms
Synaptotagmin X; Synaptotagmin-10; SYT10; SYT10_HUMAN; SytX
