Rabbit anti-Human WASF3 Polyclonal Antibody

The antibody against WASF3 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the Internal region of Human WAVE3. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on WB, IHC, ELISA.

Background Information
  • Uniprot Id

    Q9UPY6

  • Target Species

    Human

  • Target Name

    WASF3

  • Target Full Name

    Actin-binding protein WASF3

  • Target Function

Downstream effector molecules involved in the transmission of signals from tyrosine kinase receptors and small GTPases to the actin cytoskeleton. Plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization. Required in the control of cell shape.

  • Target Subcellular Location

    Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton.

  • Target Protein Families

    SCAR/WAVE family

  • Target Tissue Specificity

    Expressed in ovary and brain.

  • Target Synonyms

KIAA0900; Protein WAVE-3; Protein WAVE3; SCAR3; Verprolin homology domain containing protein 3; Verprolin homology domain-containing protein 3; WASF3; WASF3_HUMAN; WASP family protein member 3; WAVE3; Wiskott Aldrich syndrome protein family member 3; Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein family member 3

  • Target Background

This gene encodes a member of the Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein family. The gene product is a protein that forms a multiprotein complex that links receptor kinases and actin. Binding to actin occurs through a C-terminal verprolin homology domain in all family members. The multiprotein complex serves to tranduce signals that involve changes in cell shape, motility or function. A pseudogene of this gene have been defined on chromosome 6. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants
