The antibody against RHOF was raised in Rabbit using the recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 40-120 of human RHOF (NP_061907.2) as the immunogen. The polyclonal antibody exists as a isotype IgG, by affinity purification. This antibody has been validated on WB, ELISA.

Target Name
RHOF
Target Full Name
Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoF
Target Function
Plasma membrane-associated small GTPase which cycles between an active GTP-bound and an inactive GDP-bound state. Causes the formation of thin, actin-rich surface projections called filopodia. Functions cooperatively with CDC42 and Rac to generate additional structures, increasing the diversity of actin-based morphology.
Target Subcellular Location
Cell membrane; Lipid-anchor; Cytoplasmic side. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton.
Target Protein Families
Small GTPase superfamily, Rho family
Target Synonyms
ARHF; FLJ20247; Ras homolog gene family member F (in filopodia); Ras homolog gene family member F; Rho F; Rho family GTPase Rif; Rho in filopodia; Rho related GTP binding protein RhoF; Rho-related GTP-binding protein RhoF; Rhof; RHOF_HUMAN; RIF
Target Background
Predicted to enable GTP binding activity; GTPase activity; and protein kinase binding activity. Involved in actin filament organization. Located in extracellular exosome.
