The antibody against CRD1 was raised in rabbit using the Recombinant Arabidopsis thaliana Magnesium-protoporphyrin IX monomethyl ester [oxidative] cyclase, chloroplastic protein (37-409AA) as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a biotin conjugated isotype IgG, purified by protein G with a purity greater than 95%. This antibody has been validated on ELISA.

Target Species
Arabidopsis thaliana
Target Name
CRD1
Target Function
Catalyzes the formation of the isocyclic ring in chlorophyll biosynthesis. Mediates the cyclase reaction, which results in the formation of divinylprotochlorophyllide (Pchlide) characteristic of all chlorophylls from magnesium-protoporphyrin IX 13-monomethyl ester (MgPMME).
Target Subcellular Location
Plastid, chloroplast inner membrane; Peripheral membrane protein. Plastid, chloroplast thylakoid membrane; Peripheral membrane protein.
