The antibody against AFMID was raised in Rabbit using the recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-303 of human AFMID (NP_001010982.2) as the immunogen. The polyclonal antibody exists as a isotype IgG, by affinity purification. This antibody has been validated on WB, ELISA.

Target Full Name
Kynurenine formamidase
Target Function
Catalyzes the hydrolysis of N-formyl-L-kynurenine to L-kynurenine, the second step in the kynurenine pathway of tryptophan degradation. Kynurenine may be further oxidized to nicotinic acid, NAD(H) and NADP(H). Required for elimination of toxic metabolites.
Target Subcellular Location
Cytoplasm, cytosol. Nucleus.
