The antibody against Cyclin B1 was raised in Rabbit using a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 350-433 of human Cyclin B1 (NP_114172.1) as the immunogen. The polyclonal antibody exists as a isotype IgG, by affinity purification. This antibody has been validated on WB, ELISA.

Target Full Name
G2/mitotic-specific cyclin-B1
Target Function
Essential for the control of the cell cycle at the G2/M (mitosis) transition.
Target Subcellular Location
Cytoplasm. Nucleus. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome.
Target Protein Families
Cyclin family, Cyclin AB subfamily
Target Research Area
Cell Biology
Target Synonyms
CCNB 1; CCNB; ccnb1; CCNB1_HUMAN; Cyclin B1; G2 mitotic specific cyclin B1 ; G2/mitotic-specific cyclin-B1
Target Background
The protein encoded by this gene is a regulatory protein involved in mitosis. The gene product complexes with p34(cdc2) to form the maturation-promoting factor (MPF). The encoded protein is necessary for proper control of the G2/M transition phase of the cell cycle.
