The antibody against SIK3 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the Internal region of Human QSK. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on WB, IHC, ELISA.

Target Name
SIK3
Target Full Name
Serine/threonine-protein kinase SIK3
Target Function
Positive regulator of mTOR signaling that functions by triggering the degradation of DEPTOR, an mTOR inhibitor. Involved in the dynamic regulation of mTOR signaling in chondrocyte differentiation during skeletogenesis. Negatively regulates cAMP signaling pathway possibly by acting on CRTC2/TORC2 and CRTC3/TORC3. Prevents HDAC4 translocation to the nucleus.
Target Subcellular Location
Cytoplasm.
Target Protein Families
Protein kinase superfamily, CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase family, SNF1 subfamily
Target Tissue Specificity
Expressed in chondrocytes.
Target Synonyms
SIK3; KIAA0999; QSK; L19Serine/threonine-protein kinase SIK3; EC 2.7.11.1; Salt-inducible kinase 3; SIK-3; Serine/threonine-protein kinase QSK
Target Background
Enables ATP binding activity; magnesium ion binding activity; and protein serine/threonine kinase activity. Involved in positive regulation of TORC1 signaling; positive regulation of TORC2 signaling; and protein phosphorylation. Located in nucleoplasm.
