Rabbit anti-Human TNFRSF4 Polyclonal Antibody

The antibody against TNFRSF4 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of Human Ox40. as the immunogen. This antibody exists as a non-conjugated isotype IgG. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on IF, ELISA.

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4

  • Target Function

Receptor for TNFSF4/OX40L/GP34. Is a costimulatory molecule implicated in long-term T-cell immunity.; (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for human herpesvirus 6B/HHV-6B.

    Immunodeficiency 16 (IMD16)

  • Target Subcellular Location

Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.

  • Target Research Area

    Immunology

  • Target Synonyms

TNFRSF4; TXGP1L; Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4; ACT35 antigen; OX40L receptor; TAX transcriptionally-activated glycoprotein 1 receptor; CD antigen CD134

  • Target Background

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor has been shown to activate NF-kappaB through its interaction with adaptor proteins TRAF2 and TRAF5. Knockout studies in mice suggested that this receptor promotes the expression of apoptosis inhibitors BCL2 and BCL2lL1/BCL2-XL, and thus suppresses apoptosis. The knockout studies also suggested the roles of this receptor in CD4+ T cell response, as well as in T cell-dependent B cell proliferation and differentiation.
