The antibody against TPH2 was raised in rabbit using the Synthesized non-phosphopeptide derived from Human TPH2 around the phosphorylation site of serine 19 (G-FI-S(p)-L-D). as the immunogen. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This antibody has been validated on ELISA, WB.

Target Background
This gene encodes a member of the pterin-dependent aromatic acid hydroxylase family. The encoded protein catalyzes the first and rate limiting step in the biosynthesis of serotonin, an important hormone and neurotransmitter. Mutations in this gene may be associated with psychiatric diseases such as bipolar affective disorder and major depression.
