Explore the dynamic world of signal transduction with our Recombinant Human ACTB protein, a key component of the cytoskeleton. Actin, cytoplasmic 1, encoded by the human ACTB gene, is a highly conserved protein with a fundamental role in various cellular processes such as cell motility, structure, and integrity. Produced in E.coli, this full-length recombinant protein comprises the 1-375aa expression region and is tagged with N-terminal 10xHis and C-terminal Myc tags for efficient purification and detection. With a purity of greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE, the Recombinant Human ACTB protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder, ensuring consistent performance in your research endeavors.

Actin, cytoplasmic 1
Target Function
Actin is a highly conserved protein that polymerizes to produce filaments that form cross-linked networks in the cytoplasm of cells. Actin exists in both monomeric (G-actin) and polymeric (F-actin) forms, both forms playing key functions, such as cell motility and contraction. In addition to their role in the cytoplasmic cytoskeleton, G- and F-actin also localize in the nucleus, and regulate gene transcription and motility and repair of damaged DNA.

Dystonia, juvenile-onset (DJO); Baraitser-Winter syndrome 1 (BRWS1)
